Annual Terry Fox Run!
Terry Fox represented the best that Canadians
have to offer. He was an example of courage, humility, determination, and
perseverance. From a young age he exemplified these attributes that made him an
inspiration for not only Canada, but the entire world. The Silver Stream
Community has also shown its incredible generosity again this year. Our fundraising goal of $700.00 was met, and
far surpassed any of our expectations.
In fact Silver Stream Public School raised an impressive $1176.00 this
year!!!
We are grateful to each and every donor. Your giving spirit makes a difference as we
help provide resources for the Terry Fox Foundation and the fight against
cancer. As the years progress, it is our
next generation of students that will be the ones to continue Terry’s fight and
lead this worthy cause towards his dream of a world without cancer.
