We have 152 students who order Swiss Chalet Lunch. It is a very popular new lunch program but one that generates a huge amount of plastic waste that overflows our bins in classrooms. We are unable to cope with the amount of waste that is generated and work hard to reduce our waste at school as much as possible. As we strive to be an ecofriendly school, we are asking our students to boomerang their plastic containers so that they can either be reused at home or recycled at home.
At home, please remind your child to bring home the plastic containers.
